Après un brin de temps sans avoir posté d'articles, voici ma semaine "culturelle" ! J'espère que vous profitez de cette belle journée en ce lundi de Pâques fort en chocolat.

After a certain amount of time without any article on this blog, here is my "cultural" week! I hope you all enjoy Easter in this sunny and sweet day.
Album # 1 Boulevard Des Airs - Bruxelles - 2015
Tout d'abord, j'adore le titre éponyme et je me suis dit
pourquoi pas voir ce que vaut l'album en entier. Celui-ci commence fort
avec des sonorités espagnoles entraînantes (ndlr: qui donnent envie de shaker
le booty et de partir en voyage at the same time) que j'adore.
Cependant, j'ai
détesté Emmène-moi cette chanson dont mon esprit est saturé par ses passages sur
les ondes. Aussi, d'autres titres ne me plaisent pas des masses tels que Ce gamin-là dont j'aime pas l'instru. Puis quelques titres qui me font penser à
Fauve mais sans sa tendresse et son émotion et qui du coup m'énervent car
j'ai l'impression qu'ils s'en sont lourdement inspirés. (je resterai =
Voyou) je les préfère sur des tempos comme dans Laisser faire.
First of all, I love the eponym track, that is why I chose to listen to this album. It started nicely with some spanish inspired sounds which make you feel like dancing and going on a road trip at the same time. I loved it a lot. Nevertheless, I hated Emmène-moi, to me this song is annoying because my ears suffered from an untimely broadcast of the song on every radios... Also, I didn't like others such as Ce gamin-là which doesn't sound interesting to me. In addition, some of their song reminds me of the group Fauve, but those songs were lacking of Fauve's emotion and tenderness.
Un album interprète par une dizaine de chanteurs français actuels. Déjà je sentais que ça allait pas casser trois pattes à un canard, mais j'ai décidé de lui laisser sa chance. Résultat, les orchestrations sont mauvaises, je pense notamment au titre Sauver l'amour interprété par Zaho. On a l'impression que l'album a été bâclé. Et puis à quoi bon faire des reprises quand l’interprète original était parfait?!
An album sung by a dozen of French singers. I knew at first sight that it wouldn't be amazing but I decided to give it a try anyway. The result: orchestrations are weak, I particulary think about the title Sauver l'amour by Zaho. I feel like this album is botched. And then, why people keep doing bad covers when the original singer was amazing?!

Encore un joyau trouvé en errant sur Spotify. Mes oreilles se sont perdues dans cet album contenant seulement 4 titres. Des titres qui restent en tête alors qu'ils sont si vides. Et comme cela ne suffisait pas, le bougre a fait trois versions de son titre phare Aucune Autre... Bref, passez votre chemin très très vite.

And because it wasn't enough, this guy got the amazing idea to make 3 different versions of his flagship track Aucune Autre... In short: On your way !!
Film # 1 Paper Towns - 2015
Avant toute chose, j'aime beaucoup l'affiche du film, c'est joli frais, ça sent les beaux jours, je valide. Puis il fallait bien que je commence par un peu de positif parce-que oui ce film m'a hautement énervé. Alors je sais qu'il faut voir la folie de Margot comme un moteur qui sort Quentin de sa routine. Le problème c'est qu'elle se fou de sa gueule et qu'elle lui fait faire n'importe quoi sous prétexte que elle, elle sait "profiter de la vie " et pas lui. Alors que tout est subjectif, chacun vit sa vie comme il l'entend.
On croit qu'elle a une vie formidable et sans peur mais au final elle est seule, sa famille lui prête peu d'attention. Bref Margot m'énerve et je pense que c'est parce-qu'elle est incarnée par Cara Delevigne. Aussi parce-que je suis peut-être un brin jalouse de son courage de tout quitter pour pour partir à l'aventure sans penser aux répercussions. Finalement on se laisse embarquer dans cette chasse au trésor. Aussi le concept de Papertown est je trouve, très poétique. Et puis il y a des passages drôle comme quand ils chantent attrapez les tous. La B.O est cool. ça me fait un peu penser au film Moonrize Kingdom mais pas vraiment non plus, faut pas pousser.Et puis à la fin Alléluia, la Margot est démystifiée et Quentin peut enfin vivre sa vie.
Before everything else, I loved the billboard, it's pretty fresh and makes me feel like yeah Spring is here ! Also, I had to start with something positive because yes, the movie annoyed me a lot. In fact, I know that Margot's crazyness has to be seen as a driving force which make Quentin getting out of his daily routine. The problem is that she doesn't give a fuck about him at all, she doesn't pay attention to how he feels. She had him doing all sorts of things on the pretext that she knows how to enjoy life and not him. However all is a subjective concept. Everybody can live the life they want! We think that she has an amazing life, without any fear but at the end of the day she is by herself, her family doesn't pay attention to her. In short Margot annoys me, maybe because she is embodied by Cara Delevigne. Also, because I'm a tiny bit jealous of how she suddenly leaves for an adventure without thinking about the repercussion. Finally, we get caught in this scavenger hunt. The concept of Papertown is very poetic and there is some funny moments like the one when they all sing "Gotta Catch'em All". The original soundtrack is nice. Sometimes, it made me think about Moonrize Kingdom but not a lot ! And in the end, thanks God, Margot is not kind of mystique anymore and Quentin can finally live his own life.
